STRV is an award-winning mobile and web development studio. We work for top Silicon Valley clients and have developed web and mobile applications used by hundreds of millions of users. We are looking for a high-energy, sales professional who will identify and bring to closure new business opportunities.
Way of working
You will have full autonomy in how you generate new business and how you maintain relationships with existing accounts. You are in control of your own schedule, you leverage your own network and keep expanding it. In many ways, you are running your own business.
Our clients range from seed-funded startups building an MVP, to later stage startups (i.e. Tinder and Caviar) and enterprise clients (i.e. Microsoft and Hallmark). This is a consultative sales process - the role requires you to partner with and advise technology executives and investors.
You will coordinate your activities with 4 other AEs located in SF, LA and NY. You will also work with STRV’s internal design, development, and product teams in the Czech Republic to estimate timelines and budgets, assemble client proposals, and deliver presentations.
You will have a fixed base salary plus sales commissions. Your total compensation has no ceiling - it is directly tied to how much business you can generate.
- A solid orientation and understanding of the tech startup scene, including a knowledge of IT terms and technologies.
- Ability to qualify, execute and close business opportunities under minimal guidance.
- Pre-existing network in the technology industry is a huge plus.
- Prior consultative sales experience preferred.
- Prior entrepreneurial experience and/or an MBA will be looked upon favorably.
