At STRV, Your Role Will Be To:

• Lay down foundations for Innovation: Develop the groundwork for data-driven products such and AI solutions, Analytical and Business Intelligence tools while solving challenging and exciting data-related problems.

• Streamline Data Movement: Design, construct and maintain reliable pipelines to efficiently transfer and transform data across platforms such as data warehouses, real-time systems and online caches.

• Define Data Models: Collaborate with our clients to define data assets and models that align with their unique needs and goals.

• Collaborate across the teams: Work within an agile, cross-functional team, partnering with experts in data science, engineering, design, testing and product management to achieve shared objectives.

• Shape the future of Data at STRV: Help craft the direction of Data Engineering/Science at STRV.

• Mentor and inspire: Continue growing your impact and mentoring peers both internally and externally at various conferences and meet-ups.

We Expect You To Have:

• A problem-solving mindset: You’re an analyst with problem-solving skills and a passion for solving business problems using data.

• A self-starter attitude: You have passion for exploring and learning new things and not afraid to explain those things to others.

• Top-notch communication skills: You’ll be in direct touch with our US clients, so we want you to be confident and comfortable talking in English.

• Experience with relational databases: You have some experience with MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake and BigQuery.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with programming (basics needed)

• Consulting experience (talking directly to clients)

• Experience with NoSQL datastores (such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB) and Search Systems (such as ElasticSearch)

• Experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling (having experience with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics is a great plus)

• Experience with data pipelines (batch or streaming) design, implementation and maintenance and are familiar with at least one data pipeline framework like Airflow

• Practical knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure (experience with handling data infrastructure is a plus)

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
