How You Fit In

You're not just a cog in the development machine — you're a quality champion. As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll jump into projects early, pinpointing where automated testing will make the biggest impact. You’ll leverage your expertise in manual testing to find ways to streamline processes without sacrificing thoroughness. Your work will directly affect the quality of the custom software we build, ensuring our clients receive reliable products.

This role is about collaboration and continuous learning. You'll work hand-in-hand with Developers and the wider QA team, sharing your automation expertise to build a testing strategy that's both efficient and effective. At STRV, Your Role Will Be to:

• Collaborate closely with your team to foster a strong sense of partnership and shared goals.

• Proactively analyze and communicate the state of the product to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency at every stage.

• Contribute to the internal QA community by helping improve our shared knowledge, automation standards, and processes.

• Design and implement test automation frameworks and build the underlying structures that support them.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and analysis reports to thoroughly evaluate product functionality.

• Own the quality across both web and mobile applications throughout the development lifecycle.

• Play a key role in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Confidently communicate in English with our US-based clients and internal teams.

We Expect You To Have

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the full product development lifecycle.

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing, with a sharp eye for detail and user experience.

• 1+ years of experience implementing test automation frameworks for iOS, paired with deep platform-specific knowledge.

• Day-to-day familiarity with other platforms, including Frontend (Web) and Backend systems.

• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic development—or a genuine eagerness to explore how these tools can optimize your workflow.

• Good English is a must; you’ll be communicating directly with our US-based clients and internal teams.

• Ability to own a project individually while staying synced with the wider QA team.
