How You Fit In

This role isn’t for someone trying out office life for the first time. If you haven’t coordinated administrative work before, we can help on that front, but ultimately we need someone to hit the ground running. Your day will revolve around managing the reception team and office-related tasks; you’ll be the first point of contact for several of them. Your playground will be an award-winning office, including our rooftop bar, terrace and gym. 

On the administrative side, diligence is key. You’ll be making essential orders, tracking inventory, delegating tasks to our receptionists and overseeing their work. Some leadership experience (or a natural ability to guide others) will make all of this run smoothly. 

We do expect you’ll manage your own time like a boss, but you’ll also be led by a manager who’s been with us for years and can help out with whatever’s needed when you need some guidance. And of course, the entire People Ops team will have your back.

At STRV, Your Role Will Be to:

  • Make sure our office runs smoothly and looks great - including the rooftop bar, terrace, and gym, ensuring everything is functional, clean, and convenient.

  • Actively look for areas that need to be repaired, and that require improvement and/or cleaning and/or maintenance.

  • Coordinate communication and ensure quality control for facility management and vendors regarding maintenance, floral arrangements, and daily cleaning services.

  • Manage a team of 4 receptionists and oversee their agenda. Delegate tasks to the team,  manage the documentation related to reception operations and assist with the hiring and onboarding of new team members.

  • Help with the development of the office, including improvements in redesign and office setup.

  • Plan and execute daily office food management, including the hands-on preparation of “events” like monthly breakfast. 

  • Prepare workstations for onboardings and offboardings, take care of the seating plan and working areas, ensuring that everyone has what they need to focus, work hard and enjoy time spent in the office.

  • Plan and execute clients' visit and on-site service regarding the office.

  • Order coffee, tea, hygienic supplies, office supplies etc. based on budget and company needs. 

  • Track the office budget and assist with workplace and fire safety administration, including oversight of first aid kits.

  • Arrange other operational and administrative tasks, such as shipping abroad.

We Expect You to Have:

  • Experience in administrative work, office management or hospitality

  • Basic administrative skills; you know what an invoice is and how to do inventory 

  • Diligence, organization and ability to delegate and communicate effectively

  • A can-do, enthusiastic attitude sprinkled with the ability to manage your time and tasks — you’ll be the one deciding what’s important and urgent

  • The ability to build strong professional relationships and empathize with people’s needs

  • Strong improvisational skills and an eye for detail — both of which help manage a dynamic agenda 

  • Fluent English and Czech/Slovak - we have over 26 nationalities in the office and not everyone speaks Czech
