How You Fit In

You’re the ideal candidate if you're a pro of running day-to-day IT Operations, taking responsibility for hardware, software and system related issues and their end-to-end solution. We expect you to constantly and proactively look for ways to improve STRV IT Operations and avoid both user- and business-affecting issues.

You'll share responsibility for IT storage and IT equipment, communicate with hardware providers to make sure the IT department is always ready for common hardware replacements and testing. You'll also communicate with service providers to make the daily IT Operations run as smooth as possible.

At STRV, Your Role Will Be to:

  • Monitor both real and potential issues, and take responsibility for their end-to-end solution (or escalation, if needed)

  • Provide a positive service for all users by creating and maintaining a friendly, reliable and trusted IT environment

  • Provide flexible representative tech support for internal and external STRV events whenever needed (incl. the occasional evening hours)

  • Document everything in the system in a way that’s understood by the intended people, meaning: always keep their specific knowledge level in mind

  • Maintain an IT stock and, working closely with the Finance team, be responsible for IT inventory, invoice handling and other day-to-day operational administrative tasks

We Expect You to Have:

  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining an open and positive rapport with users
  • Advanced knowledge of both hardware and software layers of IT
  • Proficiency with macOS and Windows operating systems
  • Expertise in managing Google Workspace, Atlassian products and Slack
  • Czech/Slovak and English language skills
  • Administrative diligence
