It's official!

Design Academy
Hi, Adam here,
I'm excited to share that we picked you as one of 16 students who will take part in the STRV Design Academy 2026.
At the end of last year, when we started planning the reboot of Design Academy after nine years, we had no idea how many talented people would show up.
Sixty of you applied — sixty unique portfolios, sixty different stories, sixty reasons for wanting to be here. Going through every single one was one of the hardest and most inspiring things I've done.
Out of all those applications, we hand-picked 16 people. You're one of them.
We've seen your effort, your eye for design, and your dedication to complete the application process — which, to be frank, was purposefully made difficult to surface only the best and most dedicated people.
Now, it's on me and seven other lecturers to give you our best and put you on a path to becoming a world-class designer. We can't wait to do that and to meet you in person.

What happens now

If you haven't already, reply to the email we sent you to confirm your spot by March 31, 2026. If we don't hear from you by then, your spot may be offered to another candidate.

On April 14, 2026 you'll join us at STRV's Karlín office in Prague for orientation day, where you'll meet the team, your fellow Academy members, and get set up for the five weeks ahead.

From April 14 to May 15, 2026 you'll attend five weeks of in-person lectures led by STRV designers, covering everything from moodboards and visual direction to components and polished UI. Alongside the lectures, you'll take on creative challenges, work on a hands-on design project, and yes — there will be parties too.

At the end of the program, you'll present your finished project. More details on this during orientation.
