How You Fit In

You’re a finance professional who enjoys working with financial data and explaining business performance in a clear, structured way. You’re comfortable owning established controlling and reporting processes, while also being curious and proactive about improving and simplifying them as the business evolves.

You enjoy collaborating across teams, supporting discussions around financial performance, and helping stakeholders truly understand what the numbers are saying. You combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills and are motivated to grow alongside evolving tools, systems, and processes.

At STRV, Your Role Will Be To

• Develop, maintain, and deliver regular financial and selected non-financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

• Monitor budgets and forecasts, perform variance analysis, and clearly explain deviations between actuals and plans

• Actively participate in monthly controlling cycles and performance reviews with individual departments

• Assess and monitor cost efficiency and cost-saving initiatives, including their financial impact

• Work closely with the Data Science team to ensure the correctness and usability of financial data

• Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and optimize controlling and reporting processes

• Support the preparation of outgoing invoice data to ensure accurate and timely billing

• Support the CFO and Finance team with management reporting, ad-hoc analyses, and finance-related projects

• Act as a key finance partner for other teams, providing financial context and guidance

We Expect You To Have

• 3+ years of experience in financial controlling and reporting, ideally in a dynamic or growing environment

• Good working knowledge of Czech accounting principles and financial statements

• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including working with formulas and financial models

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with finance and non-finance stakeholders

• A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to continuously improve processes and tools

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Fluency in Czech or Slovak and English
