Here's the dealAs a Junior IT Support Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of the daily operations that keep STRV running. You’ll work closely with the wider IT team to resolve hardware and software challenges, take ownership of smaller internal projects, and ensure our tech environment stays seamless. This is a role designed for growth; you’ll start with the fundamentals and quickly move toward independently managing more complex support tasks.

At STRV, your role is about more than just closing tickets; it’s about ensuring our team has the tools they need to build world-class products. Ideally, you are a student looking to kickstart your career in IT and are ready to balance your studies with hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for technical hurdles, working across Slack, our Service Desk, and in person to keep things moving.
Act as the first point of contact for the team, helping with everything from account access and device setups to everyday troubleshooting. When a problem needs a deeper dive, you’ll work alongside our senior team members to get it sorted.
Take ownership of our tech lifecycle—from prepping hardware for new hires to managing our IT stock and keeping inventory data accurate.
Provide hands-on technical support for both internal workshops and external STRV events, making sure the setup is seamless.
Support internal IT initiatives and handle essential administrative tasks, including equipment tracking and invoice processing in coordination with our Finance team.
A solid grasp of IT basics and a natural comfort level within the Apple ecosystem (macOS).
Eagerness to dive into our core tools—Google Workspace, Slack administration, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)—and eventually manage them independently.
An understanding that great IT relies on clear guides. You’re comfortable following existing processes and helping us document new ones.

Fluency in Czech and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep track of multiple small tasks without letting anything slip through the cracks.
