We collected the “Smart Office” award at CBRE’s 2017 Meeting Room of the Year (“Zasedacka roku”) competition. STRV COO Lubo Smid was on hand to accept the prize during the ceremony on Feb. 15 at Corso Karlin.
What an honor!
Judges highlighted our flexible and innovative approach to modern technologies that help us streamline communication within our office. We are always encouraging our numerous department teams to suggest ways to improve upon this technology.
More than 230 companies participated in this competition. There were 93 finalists and seven winners - one for each category.
We are definitely on a roll! Our offices were honored again (!!!!!!!!!!) a week later when we picked up “Best Offices of the Year” in the IT and tech category at Prochazka and Partners’ Office of the Year (“Kancelare roku”) competition. The awards ceremony was held Feb. 23 at Slovansky dum, where coincidently our development office used to be headquartered.
Lubo went all warm and cuddly on our beloved Scrollbar in his acceptance speech this time around. In addition to essentially being STRV’s chill-out zone with a wrap-around balcony and designer furnishings, Scrollbar is also equipped with a wine refrigerator and beer on tap for … emergencies.
Lubo better get his suit pressed. We have a feeling he might be needing it again soon!
