Dear candidates,

the aim of this notice is to inform you, how the company STRV s.r.o., ID No. 28888286, with registered office at Rohanské nábřeží 678/23, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 151238 (hereinafter the “STRV“) collects, processes, uses and transfers (collectively “personal data processing”) your personal data.

Personal data is information that relates to an individual who can be identified from that information, whether or not in conjunction with any other information.

Common examples of personal data processed by STRV in connection with hiring procedure include identification data (in particular name and surname), contact data (tel., e-mail) and other data included in your CV, in particular your education, qualification, and previous work experiences.

STRV and their affiliated companies will be referred collectively to as the “STRV Group”.

How and why do we process your personal data?

The personal data we collect, the basis of processing and the purposes of rocessing are described in detail below.

    • Recruitment of new employees,
    • negotiating and concluding the employment contract.

    • legitimate interest of STRV in administration of hiring procedure and assessing candidates' prerequisites for a particular position*,
    • consent given by the candidate if the CV can be kept for other suitable job offers**.

Data necessary for selection of suitable candidate:

  • Personal data (categories and examples)
    • Education,
    • degree,
    • previous practice,
    • LinkedIn profile or similar professional social networks,
    • training,
    • professional qualification,
    • knowledge of foreign languages,
    • driving license,
    • health capacity,
    • work references,
    • other relevant data contained in the CV (e.g. work skills or preferences).

    • Recruitment of new employees,
    • Negotiating and concluding the employment contract.

* You may anytime file an objection against the processing of your data based on our legitimate interests.
** You may anytime withdraw your consent with data processing of your data by using the contact details in “Questions and queries” section below or directly from any email about job updates.

Where do we obtain your personal data from?

Most of the personal data we process is obtained from you, in particular from your CV or application for the position or during our interviews or mutual communication.

Do we share personal data with others?

a) STRV Group Companies

Personal data will only be shared across the STRV Group in certain circumstances and where lawful to do so. It may be necessary to share your personal data with other members of the STRV Group for the purpose of hiring procedure.

Access rights between members of the STRV Group are limited and granted only on a need to know basis, depending on job functions or working duties.

b) Service Providers

We use third party service providers who provide services including recruitment services.

We will check any third party that we use to ensure that they can provide sufficient guarantees regarding the confidentiality and security of your data. We will have written contracts with them which provide assurances regarding the protections that they will give to your data and their compliance with our data security standards.

c) Disclosure to third parties

In certain circumstances, we share and/or are obliged to share your personal data with third parties outside the STRV Group, for the purposes described above and in accordance with the data protection laws.

These third parties include, in particular:

  • police or relevant public authorities;
  • external advisors and experts.

Do we transfer personal data to countries outside the eea?

We also transfer your personal data we process to a country outside the European Economic Area (”EEA”), for example, when any company from STRV Group is located outside the EEA or when one of our service providers use staff or equipment based outside the EEA.

We have put in place adequate safeguards with respect to the protection of your privacy, fundamental rights and freedoms, and the exercise of your rights, e.g. we establish an adequate level of data protection through EU Standard Contractual Clauses based on the EU commission’s model clauses. How is your personal data secured?

We will keep your personal data for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected (see above), to protect our legitimate interests (e.g. in trial proceedings or for inspection purposes) and in order to comply with statutory duties.

If data are processed by STRV based on your consent, it will do so for a period of 3 years from the granting the consent or till its withdrawal.

What are your rights under applicable data protection laws?

Under the stipulated conditions, you can exercise all of the rights listed below, which are granted to you by legislation on the protection of personal data, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • right of access to personal data and the right of provision of further information on the processing of your personal data;
  • right to rectification of inaccurate of incomplete personal data;
  • right to obtain your personal data and transfer your data to another controller;
  • right to object to the processing of your personal data;
  • right to restriction of personal data processing;
  • right to erasure of personal data;
  • right to withdraw provided consent with processing;
  • right to a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Office for Personal Data Protection – www.uoou.cz).
