How You Fit In

You're not just a cog in the development machine — you're a quality champion. As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll jump into projects early, pinpointing where automated testing will make the biggest impact. You'll utilize your QA expertise from manual testing and constantly think about how to streamline testing without sacrificing thoroughness. Your work directly affects the quality of the custom software we build, ensuring that our clients receive reliable products.

This role is about collaboration and continuous learning. You'll work hand-in-hand with engineers and the QA team, sharing your automation expertise. Together, you'll build a testing strategy that's both efficient and effective. We value curiosity and knowledge-sharing here — you'll be encouraged to explore new technologies and contribute to building a strong, supportive team environment.

At STRV, Your Role Will Be to:

• Work with your team to establish a sense of collaboration and togetherness

• Proactively analyze, identify, and communicate the state of a product to team members

• Help us improve the internal QA community, knowledge, automation, and processes

• Design and implement test automation frameworks

• Build structures that support automated testing

• Create and follow test plans, test cases, and test analysis reports to evaluate product functionality

• Test both web and mobile applications

• Play a key role in project development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives

• Confidently communicate in English with our US-based clients

We Expect You To Have

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks

• 3+ years of experience with manual testing

• Deep knowledge of platform-specific testing (web, iOS, Android)

• Experience with AI-assisted and/or agentic development — or an eagerness to explore and integrate these into your workflow

• Excellent English is a must, as you will be speaking directly with our US-based clients

• Solid understanding of the product development life cycle (SDLC)

• Ability to work both independently on a project and as part of a larger QA team
